『Life』Root Canal Surgery and Homecoming

I know, sounds disgusting. Ugh!

Today I went into the dentist for root canal surgery. Now, before you think I have a sweet tooth and I never brush my teeth, let me first admit that I do have a sweet tooth AND I AM PROUD.
However, I do brush and floss my teeth on average of three times per day. So, advice to you! Don't be forgetful and always go in for your dentist appointments!

(If not, you might end up like me. :'<)

Though it wasn't really as painful as the internet said it would, it was still scary to hear the noises since I wasn't given laughing or sleeping gas. My mouth felt numb for two hours after the procedure and I couldn't eat- //cries

Make up!
Anyways, homecoming!

So, being a freshman and all, I felt that my first homecoming was a necessity. I was going to make a post/tutorial about my look, but I've recently been so busy that I haven't had the time to sit down and write a post! Sorry about that.

Dress and shoes!
Homecoming was a decent dance. Though my after party was totally better.
Come on, who doesn't love drinking hot chocolate while watching Disney movies till 4AM?

I do have many products lined up to review though; including Tony Moly Liptint, Neutrogena Facewash, Wonder Pore products, and several face masks.
A reader also requested an eyeliner and mascara tutorial, so be sure to be expecting that as well!

What products would you like me to review?

Thank you for reading!

『Life/Tips』Hair Journey/Routine

Hello everyone!

(Warning, this will be wordy!)

Recently, a lot of people have complimented me on my hair.
To be completely honest, I'm really proud of it too! Today, I'm going to share my routine for hair care and what I think works best for split ends.

In 6th grade, I literally had a bob. No kidding, I had hair to my shoulders and I absolutely HATED long hair. This was because my hair was extremely sensitive to heat and I got split ends everytime it grew out. However, in 7th grade, I started realizing that I should've actually taken care of my hair. LOL
I started trying out products and slowly found a routine that was perfect for me. I went from a bob to mid-back length hair in the span of one year.

(Just woke up with nothing done to it.)

Alrighty! So, these are the products I use.

(Three products are used in the shower. The other two are used after.)

My hair isn't that oily, so I usually wash my it every other day so my natural oils can nourish my roots. I'm currently using Herbel Essences' Color Me Happy Shampoo and Conditioner because of the swimming I've been doing recently. It really does protect my color. Plus, it add a really pretty gloss.
I usually lather for a good two minutes before rinsing. As for conditioner, I get a good amount on my hand and lather it from my ends up. Since your scalp already produces it's own oil, your roots aren't going to be your main focus. After putting on a shower cap, I proceed to wash my body for around five minutes before lightly rinsing in lukewarm water.

I use Herbal Essences' Honey I'm Strong Rinse Off Treatment every two weeks. I leave it for 15 minutes, using this in the place of my conditioner, . During this time, I'm usually doing my bed routine. (Washing my face and body, bushing my teeth, etc.)
This treatment really does work WONDERS. My hair feels super soft after rinsing and it smells absolutely amazing. (like honey!)

After washing, I always rub in Organix's Coconut Milk Anti-Breakage Serum on my ends. I then massage the rest into my roots for fragrance. Though this doesn't really help your hair overnight, I've definitely seen improvement over the course of a month. I have no split ends now and it feels extremely soft, even to the ends of my hair.

I also put in Garnier Fructis' Sleek & Shine Leave-in-Conditioner. Just like the name says, it keeps my hair flat and shiny. I apply a generous amount all over my damp hair before letting it air dry. Then I brush it out, giving me great smelling hair that's also super soft and frizz-less.

The right amount of product can really help your hair, but it's also what you do and eat that matters. I recommend getting eight hours of sleep --- no more, no less. Make sure you stay away from those sugary drinks and salty snacks. A bit won't hurt, but eating healthy is a key priority to longer and fuller hair.

Fish oil pills are something that will promote your hair growth from the inside.

(They look kinda disgusting, I know. :<)

I take two pills everyday! The Omega-3 fats will make your hair, skin, and heart healthier. The fatty acids in fish oil is something our bodies can't make; many people even have Omega-3 deficiency.
The fats regulate growth and promotes hair and skin health.

The ones I take are quite big. You might have trouble swallowing this if you don't regularly take pills, so I recommend getting small ones first!

After doing all this for a year, my hair is now healthy and long!

(Ignore my slight acne scars. ;A;)
Thank you so much for reading, and I hope you have found this post helpful! <3

(Panda decided to sit on the ledge today.)

『Review』Super+ BB Cream 【Skin79】: Gold, Pink, and Orange!

Hi guys!

So, my first review is going to be Skin97's Super+ BB Creams!

(omq look flower and rock)
Alrighty, lets get right down to it.

Description
All three are supposed to improve wrinkles and whiten your skin, all while giving you protection from the suns rays.

So these handy dandy little cylinders come in a rectangular box with instructions on the inside. I don't have one, these little babies have been used by me for a long time. (I threw the boxes out a while ago cause I thought I'd never use them again. Annnnd here I am, needing them.)

The BB cream has a little pump on top, which I found was always amazedly useful. It gave perfect control and allowed me to waste minimum.

Why do I have three, you may ask? Well, I had the problem of not knowing which one to choose...so i bought all three of them-HAHA

This is how all three of them look when they're just pumped out.

(WOW MY ARMS ARE HAIRY-)
Orange: Considerably lighter than pink and gold. On the container is says,

  • UV Interception, SPF50+ PA+++ - This gives you a LOT of protection against the sun. Made for people who are extremely prone to sunburns.
  • Whitening - Well, whitens your skin when applied often.
  • Wrinkle Improvement - Improves your wrinkles. Yay! 8D

Pink: Darker than Orange and Gold, greyish undertone. On the container it says,

  • Whitening - Same as Orange.
  • UV Protecting SPF25 PA++ - Protects your skin from the sun. Won't do more, won't do less. (unless you're a vampire, then you might want to consider Orange.)
  • Wrinkle Improvement - Same as Orange.

Gold: A tiny bit lighter than pink, but about it same, warm undertone. On the container it says,
  • Whitening - Same as Orange + Pink
  • UV Protecting SPF25 PA++ - Same as Pink.
  • Wrinkle Improvement - Same as Orange + Pink

Then I smeared it onto my upper arm.
The coloring is going to be a little lighter than what it normally would be on your face because I packed it on with layers of it. Really though, a little does go a long way. Don't use too much of it cause it will clog your pores if you apply too much. I only applied a lot so it would show up on camera.

(Pink and gold are almost the same.)
Orange:

  • Finishes VERY light. However, it has a really nice, yellow, warm tone to it that makes you happy and brightens your face. Defiantly less dewy than the other two.
  • Smelt similar to medicine (?). It's kinda hard to describe, but I don't like it.
  • Felt very smooth to apply. It blends extremely well and was thick and creamy.
  • Concealed significantly more than the other two. All my acne scars were gone.
Pros: Very nice finish and looked nice on my skin.
Cons: Smelt slightly weird, maybe it's just me. Made a big contrast with face and neck.
Final Rating: 4/5

Pink:
  • Finishes EXTREMELY DEWY AND GREASY. Has a grey undertone that makes me look dead when I use it in the winter.
  • Smelt like a moisturizer with a tiny bit of foundation mixed in.
  • Felt a little weird to apply. It wasn't as creamy as the Orange one.
  • Concealed the least. The grey undertone makes you want to spread it more so it's not as zombie-ish.
Pros: Smells nice! It's nice to use if you have a good powder to set it.
Cons: Difficult to apply and didn't conceal much of my acne scars. Also excessively dewy finish.
Final Rating: 3/5

Gold:
  • Finishes slightly dewy but firm. It has less of a grey undertone and more of a tan one.
  • Smelt like the pink one, but with more foundation.
  • Felt it took a while to blend in, but was very easy to pack. Was also very light at the first layer.
  • Concealed the majority of my acne scars, but not the extremely dark ones.
Pros: Matched my skin tone perfectly. It covered enough of my acne and felt very nice and light on my face.
Cons: Took a while to blend.
Final Rating: 4.5/5

Final Thoughts

After comparing them all, I really do think that the gold one takes the cake in the battle of these three. However, this is just because my skin is normally dry and not extremely tan.

I would more than likely buy the Orange and Gold ones again. The Orange one, again, gives amazing coverage when packed on. It's perfect for cosplaying asian characters because the color is so bright and beautiful in pictures. More SPF will make you look whiter than you actually are in picture though. If you're going to a photoshoot, make sure not to apply access. (then your face will look like a ghost while the rest of you doesn't)
The gold is just great for everyday use and I would recommend it to all my friends who like BB cream. *^*

Which one would you use?

Thank you so much for reading my review!
Until next time~ ❤

☆ hello there! ★

Hello hello! Welcome to my beauty blog!
(Day 34 and they still think I'm a curtain.)
First off, I'd like to say thank you so much for reading. I'm really excited to start beauty blogging after all the great things I've heard about it.

I'm currently 14 year old freshman who loves to sing, dance, and cosplay. I actually decided to start this blog because of cosplaying. I loved doing my make up for it, so someone suggested I started a beauty blog so I could review and do make up. Double the fun! Since I've also recently taken a liking to photography, expect some not-so-perfect pictures. Still learning~! *^*

In my free time, I live to sit down with a cup of tea and watch korean dramas/read manga/watch anime.
Or, well, be even more asian and study.
Or pet my cat.
Or pet my boyfriendiMEAN

I sing and dance on YouTube while also uploading a violin cover occasionally. Though I'm currently on a hiatus, it'd be amazing if you could take a listen while you browse. <3
I'm fairly new to this, so please bare with me. Hopefully I'll get the hang of it soon, but for now it's just going to be really messy and all over the place! 8D

Oh yeah, be prepared for more eyebags.
Mine are pretty extreme.
