Hello everyone! Again, my apologies for not posting more frequently.
(sorry for being a lazy butt ahahah-)
So many people are close/already taking finals. I happen to not be, since our finals are after winter break. The reason I haven't been really keeping up with blogging is because of video games- HAHA
If you guys didn't know already, I'm actually a huge gamer. I mostly play story games and mmorpgs, since first person shooters don't interest me and I'm not one for horror (unless it has a good plot). I recently got into Assassin's Creed again. Sadly, I don't have any more consoles, so I settled with watching walkthoughs. I've literally spent probably more than 14 hours watching them now. LOOL

Anyways! On to today's review!
Since it's almost Christmas, I wanted to do something festive.

I got this product from a "Buy 1, Get 2 Free" sale from the TheBodyShop quite a long time ago. It came in a tiny bottle for around 9USD.
Claims
Sutible for blemished skin. Lightweight hydration with shine-control for clearer looking skin. Infused with tamanu oil.
"The Body Shop difference: Tea Tree Skin Clearing Lotion will moisturize with a light, mattifying lotion that hydrates skin and controls oil while helping to clear and prevent blemishes.
Community Fair Trade tea tree oil, lemon tea tree, and tamanu oil work together to keep skin clear by helping to prevent blemishes and blackheads, and controlling excess oil. Best for combination or oily skin.
Active Ingredient
Tea Tree Oil - Great for getting rid of pimples! It has disinfecting and soothing properties that won't strip your face of it's natural oils. All natural oils also won't clog pores or cause further damage.
Lemon Tea Tree - Also used for inflammatory acne. It has natural disinfecting properties with the addition of being able to keep excess oils at bay.
Tamanu Oil - Known for it's amazing skin healing properties. It promotes the formation of new tissue, replacing the rough scarred skin caused by acne. It also has disinfecting properties.
Texture
The lotion comes out in gel like formula that's almost slightly watery. Even though it isn't thick and creamy, it holds and won't drip. It's also very spreadable, making a little go a long way. A pea sized amount on my finger tip is usually enough for my whole face. It smooths on very nicely, leaving a soft matte finish.
Smell
It smells extremely medical. At first I hated the smell, always having to hold my breath whenever I applied it. However, as I started using it everyday, I actually started liking it. LOL
Though it smells pungent with herbs, it's also very relaxing; this is probably because of the lemon tea tree oil. For people with sensitive noses, this may not be the best moisturizer for you.
Final Thoughts
Amaaaaazing! I've been looking a while for a lotion with tea tree oil. When I found this, I was super skeptical since it was encased in a tiny bottle that seemed like it would last me a month (at most). However, one I started using it, I noticed such a change in my face. Along with my WonderPore Toner, it balanced the oil levels of my face out perfectly. Though it did cause a bit of a burning feeling the first few times, which apparently went away around a week as read from others. Mine didn't, probably because of my super sensitive skin.
I also noticed my scars fading exceedingly, turning them into small red/brown dots on my face. Most of my small forehead acne have disappeared, with the exception of the few big one. It's perfect for daily use and leaves a very nice matte finish with great blemish combat.

Probably not, just because of the burning feeling. I might get just a bottle of tea tree oil to fight those pimples, but I'd like to stick to something that won't burn my face as much.

What is cosplay?

1. the practice of dressing up as a character from a movie, book, or video game, esp. one from the Japanese genres of manga and anime.
Cosplay has always been a trifling matter between people who love it and people who hate it. Though it isn't really a big deal, many people have the sterotype that cosplayers are noisy, weeaboos, and just in general, annoying. Many have also countered the fact of showing excessive skin as nudity and sexualizing them selves for attention (mainly directed towards women).
However, it's something I've been doing ever since I was 10. Even though it isn't largely considered, cosplay IS a form of art! At lot goes into making costumes (and even saving up to buy! There's nothing wrong with buying a cosplay that's too hard for you), doing make up, and even just having the bravery to wear something so extremely out of the ordinary. More effort is put into photography and editing so our cosplays our captured perfectly.
And the people! The people you meet when cosplaying and going to cons are always amazing. I've met so many great friends that have stuck with me through thick and thin from these events, usually sharing my same interests and even introducing me to many more. *A*
If anyone who reads my blog and happeneds to dislike this activity. I do respect your opinions and I am quite alright with criticism. I have met many cosplayers in the past who have been very stuck up and mean. However, just like every other "group", there are the good majority and the not so much.

Annnnd here's something from last year! I had to buy this too, since it was a sports uniform. I never got a proper chance to do a photoshoot for this, but didn't look half bad for my first genuine crossgender cosplay. Hopefully I have the chance to wear this somewhere this year!

Alrighty! Finally something I'm proud of! I debuted this cosplay at Katsucon 2013, which was this year. My friend actually was making the cosplay for herself, which did not fit her because she accidentally used my measurements. She ended up giving it to me because she was really struggling to fit into it. So, to match it, I decided I would quickly make a set of tails that would go with it. I might be remaking them soon though, as they're not exactly fluffy. ;D

Anyways, today we'll be reviewing an amazing find I stumbled upon at Costco!
This enormous bottle of 12 oz. was being sold at a price of $24! Don't get me wrong, I'm quite the cheapster when it comes to buying items. Super hesitant, since I wasn't even sure if it would work, I tossed this in my shopping cart.
Once I got home, I immediately googled the price. When I saw that it was a whooping $60 in salon, my heart skipped a beat at what an amazing deal I got!
Now, was it worth it?

Claims/Instructions
"Silk Therapy is the original weightless, leave-in silk replenishing and reconstructing treatment to repair, smooth and protect all hair types.
Direction: Shake well before use. Place a small amount of Silk Therapy in the palms and apply from the scalp to the ends. May be used on wet or dry hair or skin. Use as often as necessary. Not tested on animals."
The sericin binds with the keratin already in our hair, creating almost a layer of protection against moisture loss. The proteins also penetrate the hair to strengthen damaged areas.
Texture
Gah, I'd like to apologize for lighting on this picture. The product is extremely clear and I just could not get a good angle on it. ;A;
It feels kinda sticky, but not the type that makes you want to wash it off. Sort of like oil, but less dense!
When being poured from the bottle, it runs rather quickly. The first time I used it, I ended up having wayyyyyy too much.
Smell
This is actually a really hard smell to define into words! I've been sniffing it for the past minute and still at a stump-
It smells slightly...medical almost? Like some sort of herb, but mixed with generic salon shampoo.
Now that I'm analyzing it more, it even has a slight scent of alcohol and mint!
Sniffing this can't be good for me-
It doesn't smell bad, but it's very fragrant. It's one of those hit or miss scents. 8D Some people will love it, and some will absolutely hate it. I love this kind of scent because it's so fresh and different!

Before:
My hair is actually already relatively healthy! I currently have no split end and it's usually never frizzy. However, it is very corse and doesn't get soft easily. :'<
After:
Oh.
My.
God.
I seriously couldn't stop touching it! It was literally soft like silk and flowed gracefully down my back. A little amount of this will go a long way. If too much is applied, it does become heavy and oily. I found myself touching my hair over and over again, even after a few days from applying it. My hairstaches never felt so glamorous- LOOL
Final Thoughts
I think the serum did actually heal my hair! I've been using it for about the week, applying every other day after shampooing and conditioning my hair. When I sleep, my hair almost never itches my neck anymore. It's really soft and fluffy, even against sensitive areas like my cheeks. I feel like it had also given my hair a healthy shine; one that wasn't oily, but with volume. The matte, brown color my hair usually is seems to be slowly being replaced with a rich, redish dark chocolate color. This product worked wonderfully on my hair type. <3

To be completely honest, I didn't really think the deals were all that great. The lines were INSANE, both for fitting rooms and purchases. I did managed to buy a few things before I started getting bored and waiting in line became a pain. 8'D
Ok, lets get started!

So, starting off with the grey cardigan I got! (I matched it with the black cami, tights, and skirt. I kinda just threw it on, but it actually isn't a bad outfit. 8D)
I was actually debating if I should buy this. Though I didn't really have a cardigan like this yet and I would always see my friends wearing sweaters with the three shoulder holes, I was afraid it would be chilly. However, I later decided I would get it since it went well with the majority of my wardrobe.
It's super soft and the shoulder holes haven't caused me any troubles yet!

The skirt!
Ahhh~ I actually love this so much. I don't have many white skirts because they make my legs look super tan. However, since this one had black intergrated, it was slightly more toned out. I also love the belt that comes with it. <3 It has nice built in boy shorts so there's more freedom in sitting and moving.
The only thing I didn't really like was the zipper. It was slightly hard to zip and I required help. (it's in the back)

The tights are amazing. <3 The stripes slims my legs and gives me the coverage I like! I'm going to go try out the exfoliator later tonight when I go shower. I feels really soft on one side and a little rougher on the other side. The cami was a little bit low cut, but I don't mind. It was only $2, so I felt like it was a pretty good deal!

I never expected myself to be a size 00! My thighs a relatively thick and my hips aren't that big, but these fit perfectly. I don't think my legs are fat, just shaped weirdly. Theres a big gap in between them even when I put my feet together. ;v; My legs are probably the most insecure part of myself.

It was a whooping $70 before the discount. Luckily, I got it for a nice $50! *^* Though it's not the greatest deal, I think it's really nice for something so long and warm. The bag they gave me was also quality and reusable! There was even a complimentary Redbull. 8'D
I'm wearing this right now. I have to say, it's probably my absolute favorite cardigan out of all my clothes! It's super warm and soft and knit very nicely. The buttons are snaps, so it won't come lose~

First off, the answers to Mira's questions!
When do you start using skincare? I started using skin care probably around two years ago? In 6th grade, I didn't really care about my skin so it was literally housing acne. I very much regret not getting into facial products at a younger age since now I had these troubling scars to deal with. OTL
What is your favorite skincare brand? Why? Oh man, this is super hard to answer. I've tried so many brands; usually each having their own strong points. However, for the moment, I think it has to be Neutrogena. Though many of their products dry my face out, their products have all prevented my skin from excessive acne. *^*
What is the most expensive skincare product that you've used before? How was it? The most expensive skin care I've ever bought has probably been Sephora's skin care set. It was pretty decent, but not worth my $30. :< It was a foaming cleanser with face lotion that slightly clogged my pores, ugh. @A@ Not to mention the foam was really watery.
The most regrettable skincare product you ever bought? Why? I bought a Julep box which included a face serum. I knew Julep mainly sold nail polish, so I was skeptical about the serum. Deciding there wouldn't be any harm in trying it, I applied it to my face and went to bed. Next day I woke up, my face was COVERED in pimples. ;A; It took me a week to get rid of all of them.
Your opinions on makeup? A lot of my friends haven't started using make up yet even though I have. They don't judge me for this, which is extremely nice of them. <3 I think make up shouldn't be sometime that is put on for someone, but instead for yourself. Make up makes me feel confident! When I see myself with make up on, it always makes me happy to see that I CAN be glamorus. Wearing make up isn't "fake", as some people call it. It's a form of art that enhances an individuals already amazing features. With that stated, make up should be something one is proud to wear.
What is your favourite makeup brand? Share your must-haves from this brand. huifahojfio- MORE HARD QUESTIONS. My forever favorite brand is NYX. <3 Their products always meet their claims and is extremelyaffordable. The quality of NYX never fails to meet my expectations. I am in love with their Jumbo Eye Pencils. The color is always vibrant and can be used as eyeliner or eyeshadow!
Foundation or BB Cream? Share me your must-haves with us. I actually don't wear that much BB Cream/Foundation, but one of my favorites has to be Skin79's Orange Super+ BB Cream! I love the dewy finish it gives me, perfect for winter when faces are dry. <3
Your most favourite makeup palettes and brush sets? Blush Professional's 120 Color Eyeshadow Palette! A good friend of mine got it for her birthday and said that I could play around with it. It blended so nicely and the color was always super bright. I wore a rainbow shadow design for the rest of her party, staying on even through the pillow fights.
Which celebrity looks inspired you the most? Make up wise, it's had to be IU. She's just so talented and beautiful that I always wondered if I could be like her one day. While browsing around, i found a picture of her without make up and perfect hair. She looked just like a normal girl! Appalled, I wondered how I would look with make up and nice hair. That was around the time when I started researching about products and how to apply them.
What's your all-time favourite show/series? Why? All time favorite? Hmmm. I've seen so many now that it's just too hard to choose! Since I had to be on the topic of IU, the only thing coming to my head is the K-Drama, "You're Beautiful". It was a super adorable and fun to watch. <3 (and I love the concept of crossdressing- AHAHA)

But on another note, I got off my lazy butt and finally took pictures for today's review, Tony Moly's Cat Chu Wink Liptint in Cherry!
I actually bought this from a shop on Storenvy called Mieuku! A friend of mine shared this on their Facebook and it happened to catch my eye. After looking around, I decided I would purchase this cute little liptint.
It was very reasonably priced and had free shipping! The owner was also very kind. If you're interested in Korean fashion or cosmetics, they're a great store to check out!
Product Information
I got this picture from eBay. It's poorly translated, but hopefully you can get the gist of it. LOL Basically, it's a liptint that won't harm your lips, but instead will heal them. They claim that it's absorbed rapidly and has a very animate color.
Active Ingredients
Jojoba Oil - an extracted oil from the Jojoba shrub. Used as a natural moisturizer. For those confused about the preventing oxidation part, it relatively means preventing aging of the skin.
Stevia - actually used as a natural sweetener with no calories. I'm not sure if what they claim in the poster is completely true.
The applicator is similar to lipgloss, but flatter. The color looks super pigmented on the brush!
I was actually super scared for a second because of the blood-like it seemed when I dabbed it onto my hand. After blending it out, however, it was so much more to the color I imagined. Still extremely pigmented though!
Wow. I really applied too much. LOL
This liptint is very vibrant, just like the claims stated. I had put on two coats instead of one because of my experience with The Body Shop's liptint. With these two coats, it lasted me a nice 5 hours with drinking and eating.
It also slightly smells of cherries; now I'm wondering if the other ones smell like their respective color. Though it did absorb very quickly, the jojoba oil really didn't help out that much. It just left my lips feeling the way they started, which I don't mind. Nothing a little lip balm (which I am wearing in both pictures) can't help!

Today I'm going to be reviewing Princess Mimi (Bambi series) lenses in Sesame Grey! I got these a while ago from EyeCandy's for my Mikasa cosplay. Since these looked so amazing, I decided a post would be necessary.
Now, before I get into this review, I'd like to state that I wear prescribed clear contacts regularly. If it's your first time inserting lenses into your eyes, it will be difficult. ;v;
Please also note that frauds and fake lenses do exist! They could potentially harm your eyes; be cautious of where you buy them and always clean your hands throughly before handling!

I got the contacts bubble wrapped in a little envelope. It included EyeCandy's card with a wear and care guide. Very nice packaging! I do think they forgot to include the lens case that was supposed to come with my purchase, but thats fine.
EyeCandy's is a site that sells Korean cosmetics and lenses. They've always exceeded my expectations, making them a great place for first buys. The lenses there are all trustworthy and real!
(*note*: I am in no way affiliated with EyeCandy's. I'm doing this only of my own opinion and experiences.)
I let the contacts soak overnight in multipurpose to completely remove the storage solution. To those who are new to contacts, never forget to do this! Storage solution is not gentle and will burn your eyes. ;'<
They actually looked very natural! When I wore them to school, I got many compliments on how big my eyes looked. I love the slight brown ring in the center that helps blend the color. The black ring around the outside is also great at creating an edgy and finished look.
My Thoughts
Comfort: 5/5
Even after 6 hours of wear, I hardly felt them at all. These were as comfortable as regular contacts. With the help of eyedrops, I literally forgot they were there at all.
However, make sure you never wear contacts for more than 8 hours, no matter the comfort. Circle lenses are not recommended for daily wear! Opaque lenses block oxygen, so make sure you always give your eyes breathing time.
Enlargement: 5/5
There was a definite difference in my eye size after putting these on! They looked very natural on my dark brown eyes, but also made them pop and stand out. I'm very satisfied on how it gave me a mysterious and stoic look, perfect for my character.

It was 8AM in the morning, and we had left the school for New York~! *^*
On Wednesday, the Drama Club skipped school to go see the first time showing of Romeo and Juliet on Broadway.
Sitting with my lovely friend Roma, we tried to entertain ourselves for a 5 hour drive. Super tired since I was excited to the point of not sleeping. LOL

We had lunch at a little pizza place where the slices were bigger than my face! I ordered a buffalo chicken pizza that was a bit too spicy. All of us had a piece of cheesecake as well, which was AMAZING. (Ok, this one girl didn't, but she didn't like cheesecake. :<)
Afterward, we were supposed to go to Forever 21 (which was four stories high). Instead, someone suggested we go walk a mile to get frozen yogurt. Yeah, I was kinda angry cause we weren't allowed to split up, but I'm going back during winter break so it's all fine. (Going to visit my boyfriend while I'm at it, so excite. ///v/// <3)
Finally, at 1:30, we started getting seated for the Romeo and Juliet show at 2:00.
Time Square is so beautiful at night. ;v;
It was a very small theater, but I got to meet Christian Carmago and Orlando Bloom in person! (though Orlando didn't accept pictures, I did get one with Christian. ///v///)
Lighting was bad since it was in the theater. :'<
I'd like to say that the show was absolutely amazing. If you live near New York, you should definitely take the time to see it.
